The couple was snapped dining at Montecito's historic Plow & Angel restaurant, a celebrity hotspot located on the San Ysidro Ranch, on Sunday.

While many patrons chose to dine al fresco at the restaurant's picturesque patio, the television icon, who turned 89 late last month, opted for a more intimate setting indoors.

Burnett isa regular at the eatery and waitstaff were seen welcoming the actress back when she arrived.

Gracious as ever, the former TV host smiled and thanked employees as they tended to her and her husband.

She opted for a sliced avocado with vinaigrette dressing as a starter and for her main course ordered the lamb chops with mint jelly.

The couple then rounded off their meal by splitting a French crepe for dessert.

While Burnett appeared frail, she had a healthy appetite, finishing every course that was placed in front of her.

She looked classy but casual in a black turtleneck top, jeans, cardigan, and accessorized with a red crossbody purse.

Her husband matched her style in an all black ensemble under a black jacket.

Burnett, a mother of three, was not joined by any of her children at the dinner.

Celebrating Mother's Day may be especially bittersweet for the Hollywood veteran, who lost her eldest daughter Carrie Hamilton to cancer at the age of 38 in 2002.

She has two other daughters with late ex-husband Joe Hamilton, Jody, 55, and Erin Hamilton, 53, who both reside in Los Angeles County.

Burnett, who married Miller in 2001, has lived in the ritzy seaside town of Montecito – almost two hours north of Los Angeles –- for decades and is familiar with all of the dining hot spots.

The low-key but upscale Plow & Angel restaurant is located at the San Ysidro Ranch and is a favorite among Montecito's famous residents including Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle.

Beanie Baby mogul Ty Warner owns the historic Montecito resort.

Menu items include a $130 Wagyu striploin steak, Maine lobster tail for $84,  and Chilean Sea Bass priced at a cool $65.

An onlooker who spotted the couple told DailyMail.com: 'Whenever Brian spoke, Carol was laser focused on him.

'They sat there singing and humming little show tunes together and laughing while they waited for their meal; it was very cute.'

At 66 years old, Miller is 23 years Burnett's junior but the pair appear to have a strong bond despite the age gap.

The two left the restaurant after two hours with Burnett holding on tight to her hubby's arm as they walked slowly towards the valet stand under an arch of greenery.
