Hayden Panettiere returns to Scream franchise... as actress plots career comeback months after THAT wild brawl with boyfriend Brian Hickerson
Hayden Panettiere has found her first acting gig less than two months after she was embroiled in a wild bar brawl with her boyfriend Brian Hickerson.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Panettiere will reprise her role of Kirby Reed from Scream 4 in the next installment of the horror franchise.
The 32-year-old actress will rejoin the slasher series that was rebooted in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It comes after the actress, who is five feet tall, was caught screaming 'Brian' as she tried to pull boyfriend away from the group outside the Sunset Marquis hotel in late March this year.

Hickerson, who is on probation until 2025 for domestically abusing the actress in 2018, had spit at someone in the group and the manager of the trendy bar kicked everyone out, a witness told TMZ.
A representative for Panettiere told People that Hickerson 'made a comment to an individual about leaving the waitress a poor tip.'
'That same individual, along with the group he was with, began badgering and shoving Brian, at which point security pushed everyone outside. Brian was attacked by the group, as was Hayden, who in her best effort tried to diffuse the situation,' the representative said.
While Panettiere has not commented on the situation, she now appears to be moving on from it and focusing on her career, joining the next Scream project.
Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures resurrected the franchise with a fifth installment titled Scream, which also was the name of the 1996 original film.

The fifth installment earned more than $81 million domestically and $140 million worldwide.
It was recently announced that Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega from the reboot will be returning for the next installment after surviving their encounter with killer Ghostface.
Hayden in Scream 4 played teenager Kirby who was wounded but survived after Ghostface again terrorized fictional Woodsboro, California.
Plot details for the next installment were not revealed, but producers in a statement said the story 'continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.'
Fourth installment: Erik Knudsen, Rory Culkin, Marielle Jaffe and Hayden are shown in Scream 4
Hayden rose to fame portraying cheerleader Claire Bennet in the NBC superhero series Heroes that aired from September 2006 to February 2010.
She also starred in the musical soap opera series Nashville that aired on ABC and CMT from October 2012 to July 2018.
The new Scream movie will be Hayden's first big screen feature in eight years.
Hayden has seven-year-old daughter Kaya with former partner Wladimir Klitschko, 46.
She has been in a relationship with Brian Hickerson, 32, who remains on probation until 2025 for domestically abusing her in 2018.
He was arrested in 2020 for investigation of multiple felony charges, including corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant, two charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and one for intimidating Hayden.
