Movie stars galore were snapped at the fete, including Greta actress Chloe Grace Moretz, who channeled Marlene Dietrich in a dress shirt and tie.

She struck a summery tone by plumping for a brightly colored floral top and tucking it into a high-waisted pair of white slacks, opting for light grey where her tie was concerned.

Chloe went for a naturalistic look as far as makeup and wore her signature blonde hair in an elegant coiff, rounding off her look with a clutch and a pair of monochrome shoes.

An international array of film stars were snapped at the Louis Vuitton event, from French actress Lea Seydoux to Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone.

Take on the tweed trend like Miranda wearing Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton's show at San Diego drew in all the most stylish celebs, and Miranda Kerr lead the lineup in a typically fashion forward look.

The model wore an outfit from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2022 collection -- a skirt and jacket combo made of tweed and embroidered with a shimmering gold zigzag effect.

Miranda's skirt and jacket are available to buy now -- her tweed skirt in particular has caught our eye! It's ideal to team with a silky cami or printed T-shirt.

Click now to shop it for yourself and why not pick up the jacket, too. You can even get Miranda's look with our edit of tweed skirts from the high street.

While flitting around the event she also found time to hobnob with Emma, whom she co-starred with on the Ryan Murphy series American Horror Story and Scream Queens.

The combo of a sweater dress and boots was a popular one, modeled by such names as Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri actress Samara Weaving.

Phoebe mingled at the event with her fellow British acting star Gemma Chan, who cut a radiant figure in a sweater-dress combo done in black and off-white.

Gemma's ensemble featured a postmodern black print, comprised over a romper dress thrown over a matching half-turtleneck sweater that defied the warm weather of San Diego in May.

The 39-year-old movie star, whose films include Crazy Rich Asians and Eternals, swept her hair partly back into an updo and threw in a splash of contrast with a black and scarlet clutch.

Evidently Gemma had pride of place at the event, as she could be glimpsed sitting front row right next to none other than Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour herself.

Steve Jobs' daughter Eve strolled into the event in a tube top and skirt with a pale pink Louis Vuitton bag, while Kamala Harris' stepdaughter Ella Emhoff wore a throwback jacket with tails.

'Having spent a lot of time in California, I was drawn to the idea of showing there again,' Nicolas explained during a Harper's Bazaar interview ahead of the fashion show.

'The Salk Institute has been a place of wonder for me over the years and Louis Kahn’s stunning Brutalist architecture against this extraordinary setting of the Pacific Ocean and the California sunset provides me with endless inspiration. It also celebrates intelligence, knowledge and the belief in the power of science.'

Nicolas' venue of choice is a world-famous scientific research institute named after its founder Jonas Salk, the virologist who pioneered the polio vaccine.

The Salk Institute was designed by Louis Kahn, who was born in the Russian Empire and designed such landmarks as the Yale University Art Gallery and the Bangladeshi parliament building.
