Finestkind, which is written and directed by Brian Helgeland, also stars Jenna Ortega, Ben Foster, Toby Wallace, Clayne Crawford, Tim Daly and Lolita Davidovich.
The crime thriller's storyline centers on a pair of brothers from different backgrounds who are brought together and have to work out a deal with an organized crime syndicate, with a young woman caught in the center of the issues.
The film was initially slated to star Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ansel Elgort in 2018, but production delays led to casting changes.
According to a report from The Standard-Times Friday, production took place last week in nearby locales such as Fairhaven and New Bedford.

The crime thriller, which is written and directed by Brian Helgeland, is slated to stream on Paramount Plus later this year
Producer Gary Foster told the outlet of the Academy Award-winning actor: 'He's a nice guy, he's fun,' and 'very nice to work with on this.'
The San Saba, Texas-born star 'was smiling and very happy to see' a number of locals who praised him on his work, which includes films such as The Fugitive, Men in Black and Batman Forever.
In recent years, the actor has been seen in films such as Ad Astra, The Comeback Trail, Wander and the forthcoming drama called The Burial.
Finestkind is slated to premiere on Paramount Plus later this year.
