And four months later, the singer and her team have yet to provide ticket-holders with an update on the postponed shows - despite the singer vowing to reschedule the dates for sometime this year.
With frustrations mounting, fans are using social media to call out Adele for seemingly leaving them in the dark, with many calling the months-long delay 'bogus' and 'diva-like.'
Swift exit: The Someone Like You singer was pictured leaving with pals
Weekends with Adele was set to begin at Las Vegas' Caesar's Palace on January 21.
But the day before kick off, Adele announced that she'd be postponing the 12-week residency, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as a mitigating factor.
The last-minute cancellation left many fans out of pocket after spending thousands on tickets and plane fares to see her onstage.
With many in search of answers - and some in search of refunds - fans have been directing their complaints to Adele's official Twitter, as well as her fan page Adele Access and Ticketmaster.

'I've decided I'm requesting my refund from the Adele Vegas show. It's been four months and we haven't received any word on new dates,' penned one disappointed fan via Twitter on Tuesday. 'The way these flight prices are currently, it's no longer worth it to me.'
Another read: 'can y'all just reschedule the residency shows already so I can see my tickets to get my money back?!???
'it's been 4 months and i wasted so much $$ to go to vegas for nothing it's ridiculous at this point.'
Replying to the tweet above, one fan called the four-month wait 'bogus' and suggested that the delay makes it hard for those who need time to make proper travel arrangements.

It comes after Adele and her beau recently moved in together, snagging none other than a £47m mega-mansion, formerly owned by Sylvester Stallone.
Adele and Rich bought their new Beverly Hills love nest from former owner Sylvester Stallone, after it sat on the market for the better part of the year.
The singer took to Instagram last week to share a series of loved-up snaps of the couple, including one where they both held up the keys to their abode.

Casual: Anthony Davis wore a black jumper
Adele already owned three homes in the star-studded neighbourhood of Beverly Hills before adding Sylvester's former abode to her property portfolio in January.
The 18,587 square-foot home was designed by Richard Landry and boasts eight-bedroom and 12-bathrooms.
Sylvester had been working hard to sell the mansion that he purchased in the '90s, and initially listed the beautiful home for £90million ($110m), but there were no takers. In May, he cut the price down to £69million ($85m).

Pals: Adele and her beau dined with a group of pals including basketball star Anthony Davis
And she's back: After flying under the radar, Adele has been stepping back into the limelight
The Hollywood icon relisted the property for £69million ($85m) in August, and dropped the price down to £65million ($80m) in October.
Sylvester first used agency Hilton & Hyland with the agents being Paris Hilton's dad Rick along with his son Barron Hilton II and his son's wife Tessa.
Rick's business partner Jeff Hyland was also listed. But he later changed agents to Tomer and Isidora Fridman, Kurt Rappaport and Jade Mills.
The property has a total of eight bedrooms on a whopping 3.5 acres, and is located in the same neighborhood where Lisa Vanderpump and Rod Stewart used to reside.
'It's double gated. You're gated within the community, and then, again, when you get to the house, you're gated,' Mills said.
The property was designed architect Edward Granzbach and built in 1994.
The entire square feet of the dwelling is 21,000 but Mills says it's not too big, adding: 'Even though the square footage is very large, it's a pretty traditional floor plan. It's a really easy house to live in.'
The main house features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms including a master suite, three spacious en-suite bedrooms, and two maids bedrooms.
Next step: Adele has recently moved into a new £47million ($58million) mega-mansion with her boyfriend Rich
Impressive: And the couple have seemingly inherited a Rocky statue from the home's former owner Sylvester Stallone, with photos showing the statue next to the pool
The opulent master suite includes a sauna, steam room, and office with a terrace.
There is also a two-story guest house with two en-suite bedrooms and full chef's kitchen as it was designed by Richard Landry.
The primary two-story building includes a formal living room which features views to Rodeo Drive and beyond.
As if that wasn't already enough, amenities also include a professional movie theater, a cigar room with an air-filtration system and a home gym.
Commenting on the gym, Mills quipped: 'What would you expect Rocky's gym to look like? It truly is Rocky's gym, even though I'm sure the whole family uses it.'
Outside there is a massive patio with an infinity pool, spa, and even a putting green. Any gearhead would be happy to know that there is also an air-conditioned eight-car garage with an art studio.
Smitten: Adele and Rich bought their new Beverly Hills love nest from former owner Sylvester after it sat on the market for the better part of the year
The gated community is also home to Hollywood royalty Denzel Washington and Eddie Murphy.
Adele's first two properties were purchased under the names The Gatefield Trust and Todd Gelfand, a partner at Adele’s business management company Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman.
She bought the third property from Nicole Richie and her musician husband Joel Madden, with the house sitting next door to both her current home and the house she purchased from ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019.
Adele and Rich's house news comes after they recently enjoyed a lavish holiday to Napa Valley in California.
They were spotted enjoying a meal together at the Farmstead restaurant at Long Meadow Ranch in Napa Valley over the weekend, according to People.
An insider told the publication that the two were 'still seeing' each other despite rumours that they had broken up after Rich was seen partying with his client LeBron James in Miami on the day of her 34th birthday.
'Adele is still seeing Rich. They are both very busy though,' said the source. 'She is working on her residency and Rich is busy with his clients. They see each other when they can.'
Speaking on The Graham Norton Show in February Adele said she was keen to have her first child with Rich.
She said: 'I would like to have more children – I only just feel like I've caught up with my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son.' [with ex-husband Simon Konecki].'
Adele and her boyfriend were first linked as a couple after they were seen sitting together at the NBA finals in July 2021.
The performer has been spending time with her boyfriend following reports that she was closing to finalising a move for her postponed Las Vegas residency from The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace to the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood.
