Michael B. Jordan REMOVES all traces of ex Lori Harvey from his Instagram.... two weeks after she did the same following their shock breakup

Michael B. Jordan has removed all traces of ex-girlfriend Lori Harvey from his Instagram account after she did the same following their shock breakup earlier this month.

The Creed actor's social media cleanse comes exactly two weeks after model Lori, 25, also removed Michael, 35, from her social media platforms.

News of their separation first emerged on June 5th, but neither party is yet to comment on exactly what went wrong.

It certainly came as a surprise to their social media followers, as the former couple were not shy when sharing loving and gushing posts about one another on Instagram.

At the weekend, Michael was seen showing off his muscled physique in a white vest top on a night out at a club in West Hollywood, California.

Up until a few days ago, Michael still had a video of himself and Lori from March 29 on a night out, as well as a February 16 picture of her with the caption: 'I love her.'

But now they've all been erased, showing a clear sign that the breakup is for good.

Lori's father Steve Harvey initially made light of the situation, which may suggest that the split wasn't that acrimonious.

Confirming the split during an episode of The Steve Harvey Morning Show, he declared: 'I'm team Lori, 1,000 percent. She's my daughter. I love her, I support her.'

Steve then joked that at least it didn't end in a costly divorce - of which Steve himself has had three - and said he was glad that they both 'got out early.'

Hinting that it has been an amicable parting of ways, he said: 'Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends...I ain't heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing.'

'As long as you don't put your hands on my daughter, I don't give a damn what you do. He's still a cool guy...from what I know. It's a breakup. I'm pretty sure they'll be fine. People break up all the time.'

Steve has been married himself three times, and laughed as he admitted that he wishes he could have learned from the young couple.

He said: 'I just wish I could have broke up without the cost factor! I got to start learning from my children, get out early! I waited way too late.'

'I’m gonna have to start breaking up on IG 'cause this going to court is costly,' he added laughing.

People reported the news earlier this month with a source claiming they were 'completely heartbroken' about the split and they 'still love' each other.

'Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term,' the insider added.

'He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time.'

'They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.'

The former couple made their red carpet debut when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Beverly Hills on March 27.

Michael was noticeably absent from the influencer's side when she walked the red carpet at the Met Gala on May 2.

However, the Black Panther actor shared photos of her red carpet appearance on his Instagram Stories. He gushed over one aerial image, writing, 'Probably my fav pic. The composition says so much.

'Birds eye view of a moment you've dreamed about for so long finally manifested & you didn't disappoint! Way to shine babygirl. I love you.'

The stepdaughter of Steve Harvey once again went solo when she attended a screening of the French zombie comedy Final Cut (Coupez!) at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17.
