Léa Seydoux is cast as House of Atreides ally Lady Margot in Dune: Part Two ... joining Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya in ensemble cast
Léa Seydoux has been cast in Dune: Part Two as Lady Margot.
Lady Margot is a servant of the Sisterhood in the Frank Herbert novel, and allied with Timothée Chalamet's character Paul Atreides amid the conflict between the House of Atreides and the House of Harkonnen.
The Paris native, 36, is one in a number of notable names joining the franchise for the sequel, Deadline reported Tuesday.

Also slated to join the cast include Austin Butler, who will portray House of Harkonnen heir Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen; Christopher Walken, who's playing Emperor Shaddam IV; and Florence Pugh, who will play Princess Irulan, the daughter of the Emperor.
Among the stars to return to the film under director Denis Villeneuve - who is penning the script with Jon Spaihts - include Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard and Josh Brolin.
The Blue Is the Warmest Colour actress is doing well in her career coming off a strong showing at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, where her films Crimes of the Future and One Fine Morning were screened.
The year before at the cinematic event, she had a trio of films screened, such as Deception, France and The French Dispatch.

Seydoux also had a high-profile role playing the role of Madeleine opposite Daniel Craig's James Bond in the 2021 movie No Time to Die.
Cameras are slated to begin rolling on the motion picture this autumn ahead of the film's scheduled October 20, 2023 debut in theaters.
Dune, which was released last October, was a critical and commercial success, having made more than $400 million at the box office, with $108 million in domestic totals.
The film won six Academy Awards on ten nominations, claiming the honors for Best Sound, Best Achievement in Visual Effects, Best Achievement in Production Design, Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Score), Best Achievement in Film Editing and Best Achievement in Cinematography.
