She penned in her Instagram caption: 'Today's #SYTYCD look! ✨ Inspired by the Supers of the 90's and that one @Versace show! Channeling my inner @CindyCrawford, @HelenaChristensen, #KarenMulder and even a little #GeorgeMicheal 'Freedom' too!!! X'
Work it! The presenter, 45, slipped into a body con black dress and posed up a storm backstage as fans commented on her makeover (pictured right as she went makeup free after filming)
Cindy Crawford originally wore a floor-length black dress similar to Cat's to the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards 30 years ago.
This black buckled bodice and sleek skirt dress has become iconic over the years and even Cindy's daughter Kaia, wore a mini version of the dress for her 18th birthday in 2019.
Though it was supermodel Christy Turlington who first wore the gown on the runway during Versace's fall 1992 show.

Posing after the show with no makeup on, the presenter explained: 'Thought I'd give you all a little break from all the glam for a second!'
'It takes a team of people to make me look like 'the host' & I can't thank them enough! And while yes filters can be oh so fun, here's a little reminder they're not real.... X'
Icon: Cindy also wore the dress to Versace's 'Rock 'N Rule' fashion show gala to Benefit amfAR in September 1992
