Drew Barrymore beams in a bright pink gown after her hit talk show takes home TWO gongs during the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Pasadena

Drew Barrymore had plenty to smile about as she attended the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Pasadena on Friday.

The 47-year-old Charlie's Angels star's hit daytime talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show, snagged two Emmys during the star-studded ceremony.

Along with taking home some trophies of her own, Barrymore served as one of the evening's celebrity presenters along with the likes of comedian Drew Carey and actress Susan Lucci.

The E.T. actress presented the award for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series to ABC's long-running soap opera General Hospital.

Barrymore couldn't have been more enthusiastic as she eagerly read the winner aloud.

After spending time on stage, Barrymore headed backstage to pose for shutterbugs in her stunning hot pink gown.

The eye-catching number flowed to the floor and featured a dramatic cape that Barrymore flung into the air for several snaps.

Her auburn tresses were tucked behind her ears and cascaded down her back in loose waves.

Barrymore was decked out in chunky turquoise jewelry, including a statement necklace, a wrist cuff and dangly earrings.

The Drew Barrymore Show beat out several hit talk shows, including The Kelly Clarkson Show and ABC's The View, in the categories for Outstanding Costume Design/Styling and Outstanding Special Effects Costumes, Makeup and Hairstyling.

Barrymore's daytime gig kicked off in September 2020 and recently wrapped its second season. It was renewed for a third season this past April.

The Daytime Emmys returned to an in-person event for the first time in two years, with the show airing on CBS and Paramount+.

Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner were the hosts of the ceremony, which was broadcasted live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Among some of the nominees was Kelly Clarkson, who battled it out with Barrymore, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, and Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager for outstanding entertainment talk show host award.

Think pink like Drew in a custom cape dress by Valentino

She was a style icon back in the nineties but Drew Barrymore is very much still nailing it.

Our jaws dropped when she made her red carpet appearance in this custom gown by Maison Valentino. Styled by Lee Harris, we adore the eye-catching fuchsia shade, complimented by heavy turquoise jewelry. It's the cape design that really gives it such a dramatic and show-stopping aesthetic though.

Gloria Estefan and her daughter and sister-in-law, Emily Estefan and Lili Estefan, were nominated for an outstanding talk show host award, for their Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk: The Estefans.

The category also includes Tamron Hall, Robin Roberts, Taraji P. Henson, and the hosts of The View.

Meanwhile The Young & The Restless received an astounding number of 18 nominations, including outstanding drama series. General Hospital came in second, with 17 nominations.
